Talk to somebody that you trust and try and meet up with them if possible
Book yourself a GP appointment to discuss how you are feeling
Try to avoid alcohol or mood altering substances
Go to a place where you feel safe – whether it be a friend’s house or a public place
Try to do activities you enjoy which take your mind off what you are thinking
Keep a journal of how you are feeling – it may really help to write it down
Don’t think about the future, just focus on keeping yourself safe – whether its hour by hour or day by day
